Introducing an “Intelligent” AI DSO
Sentient’s new line of Intelligent DSO’s with ASI feature many advanced operational enhancements over traditional DSOs. The features listed in the tabulation below are presented to facilitate selection of a suitable model for the user.
New Intelligent DSO with Voice Control & Response!
Currently there are three new models that operate as sampling – storage oscilloscopes and are controlled by Sentient Voice Command and Control, SVCC. The DSO-12XX and the DSO-22XX both use a USB connection to an oscilloscope that commands the DSO pod and displays the captured signal sampled data. The scopes can also operate wirelessly with a range of 300 AGI adds new intelligent features. Sampling data is transmitted to a standard PC. The USB connection is now solely used to charge the internal rechargeable battery. The DSO will sleep, saving battery life.
Each model can be 8 bits or 12 bit sampling scopes. Two channel CSO- 12XX model- can have a suffix 1208 or 1212 and two channel CSO-22XX can have suffix 2208 or 2212.
This new technology can instruct and provide automatic features that optimize its operation. To accomplish these user friendly goals the instrument design communicates with the user in natural language. These scopes will automate setting up operational needs as well as easily making and transmitting project records of the test operations. The CSO can be considered to have cognitive characteristics in understanding the scope applications and also in automating the needed operations. Voice control and reply makes for truly hands free operation. Voice can be accomplished via an inexpensive Bluetooth headset.
Wireless Operation
The ASI DSOs simplifies the test and measurement oscilloscope operations by providing wireless operation. The Wireless operation allows un-tethered full operation of the CSO instruments within 100 meters locally or long distance via cell phone or PC system.
There are advantages to wireless operation, which extends beyond the convenience of distance access to oscilloscope control. The additional advantages extend to enabling the enlarged interested technical community to participate in the project testing. There are also multiple technical testing advantages that involve the capability to isolate the grounding and signal interference. It also provides the compact environment to use short test leads which can reduce signal test probe distortions
Voice Controlled
All commands and responses are done in natural language. Commands such as RUN, STOP, SAVE, etc can be made with use of a bluetooth headset Data are announced making for a hands free instrument. Further enhanced vocie dialog will be added.
Other Unique Enhanced AI Features
In addition to classical DSO operation, battery operation, signal generation- frequency response and multi-channel data collection are also available. These features make for truly portable, hands free operation. No other scope on the market has all of these unique features.
